The CBI on Tuesday arrested five senior executives of companies belonging to billionaire Nirav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi—including Vipul Ambani, president (finance) of Firestar International.
Kavita Mankikar, authorised signatory of Firestar; and Kapil Khandelwal, chief financial officer of Nakshatra and Gitanjali group, were among those arrested by the agency in connection with the Rs 11,300 crore PNB fraud.
