The Election Commission on Monday dismissed a US-based Indian 'cyber expert's' claim that EVMs were hacked in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, saying that the machines used in the polls were "foolproof". The election watchdog added these EVMs are manufactured under "very strict supervisory and security conditions". The EC said it was "wary of becoming a party to this motivated slugfest".
