India defeated Windies by 8 wickets in the fifth ODI on Thursday to clinch the series 3-1, their seventh straight series victory over the Caribbean team. Since 1999, India have played 11 bilateral series against Windies, winning nine and losing two. In the series, Ajinkya Rahane recorded 336 runs, the most by an Indian in bilateral ODI series against Windies.
