Lt.  Khushali Purohit has been now official participant of Guinness Book of World Record for The most people in a single mountain run is 4,801 and was achieved by participants of the PNB MetLife Satara Hill Half Marathon, organised by Satara Runners(India) in Satara, Maharashtra, India, on 17 September, 2017. Lt. Khushali Purohit had participated in PNB Metlife Satara Hill Half Marathon at Satara, Maharashtra on 17 September, 2017. The Satara Marathon is considered to be among the toughest half marathon courses anywhere in the world. That's why it's known as "Ultra Half Marathon. Lt. Purohit had completed 21km run in 02:28:03 hrs and achieved the Hill Conqueror Medal. The half marathon route passes through the majestic Western Ghats (Part of the Sahyadri range of forests in Western Mahatrashtra) It is a challenging out and back run, through the hills around Satara, taking the runners on a roller coaster ride, through spectacular scenes of natural beauty. Veterans who have run some of the most difficult distance races over the world have described this course as a tough nut to crack.
