After the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, the Central Government took a big step and decided to strip the security given to Kashmiri separatists. These separatist leaders include Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Abdul Ghani Butt, Bilal Lone, Hashim Quraishi, Shabbir Shah.

According to an order issued, all security and vehicles provided to the separatist’s will stand withdrawn by Sunday evening. No security force or cover will be provided, under any pretext to them or any other separatist.
