Among three convicts sentenced to death in the 2003 Mumbai twin blasts, Mohammad Hanif Syed who was lodged in Nagpur Central jail, died at a hospital-prison officer confirmed.
After Syed’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday evening, he was shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, where he died one and half hrs after admission, Rani Bhosle, jail superintendent said.
