As many as 122 bombs dating back to World War II were unearthed in Kohima, Nagaland today. Kohima Police said the bombs, of varying sizes, were safely removed and taken for disposal by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. In September, two WWII bombs were recovered from Kohima, where British and Indian troops fought Japanese soldiers during the war.
