Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday launched the warship Nilgiri, which is the first ship of Project 17A here, and said that launching the first of such stealth frigates has brought him immense pride and satisfaction for the defence capabilities of the country. He also added that the launch of the stealth frigate was a significant step towards achieving majority defence production in the country.
