In Surat, Asia's largest textile market, Surat had pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi only on saris, but now the faces of two new leaders have knocked on these sarees. Dates of the Lok Sabha elections are near, Congress supported textile businessmen have started making printed sarees of party president Rahul Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

Prior to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, in this textile market in Surat, the BJP's support was usually printed by Narendra Modi's photo-printed sarees, which were supplied in different states of the country according to the demand. But since the saris of Narendra Modi's photographs are being discussed, the Congress does not want to be behind in this race. This is the reason why businessmen like Congress supporter Gaurav are making Rahul Gandhi's photo-printed sarees here. The garment trader Gaurav Shrimali told that he has already printed 120 saris which he will send to the Congress MLAs of Mumbai. Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress also now wants to propagate the party through these sarees.
