The Gujarat government has appointed Gyanender Singh Malik, the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City, as the new Director General and Inspector General of Police (DGP) of Gujarat.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Malik, a 1993-batch IPS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has been appointed to the vacant cadre post of Director General and Inspector General of Police, Gujarat State, with immediate effect.
