According to sources, choppers will be used to ferry the bodies from the crash area in Arunachal Pradesh. IAF officials had said a team of rescuers reached the wreckage of the plane in a heavily forested mountainous terrain in the morning and confirmed that there are no survivors.

The IAF gave the details of those who lost their lives in the crash--Wing Commander GM Charles,  Squadron Leader H Vinod, Flight Lieutenant R Thapa, Flight Lieutenant A Tanwar, Flight Lieutenant S Mohanty, Flight Lieutenant MK Garg, Warrant officer KK Mishra, Sergeant Anoop Kumar, Corporal Sherin, LAC SK Singh, LAC Pankaj, NC(E) Putali and NC(E) Rajesh Kumar.
