The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia has added Bharat Biotech's Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin to its list of Covid-19 vaccines not registered in Australia but used widely internationally for the purpose of establishing a traveller's vaccination status. Along with Covaxin, China's Sinopharm's BBIBP-CorV too has been added to the list. This recognition, the TGA says, is for travellers aged 12 and over who have been vaccinated with Covaxin, and those 18 to 60 who have been vaccinated with BBIBP-CorV
