BCCI's national selection committee led by Chief selector MSK Prasad announced the Indian squads for the upcoming tour of West Indies, commencing from August 3. Virat Kohli will be the captain in all three formats and Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the one days and T20s. Mahendra Singh Dhoni made himself unavailable for West Indies tour to serve his regiment. From the World Cup squad, the prominent player to be dropped is Dinesh Karthik while Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested as a part of a workload management programme. Bumrah is part of the Test squad though.
