Additionally, a third tweet by the CMO said: “As a precautionary measure, a blackout has been imposed in the villages of bordering Santalpur taluka in Patan district. All citizens are advised to stay away from rumours and follow the instructions issued by the administration from time to time.”

It is also noteworthy that, in view of recent incidents along the border, all Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police in Gujarat have been directed to issue notifications banning the flying of drones for the next 96 hours, until May 15, except for national defense and internal security purposes.

The Gujarat government had earlier canceled all leaves of its employees citing the prevailing situation. Furthermore, 154 doctors from multiple state-run hospitals have been deployed to the border districts.

Additionally, seven airports in Gujarat—Rajkot, Bhuj, Kandla, Keshod, Jamnagar, Porbandar, and Mundra (Adani)—have been shut for civil aviation until the morning of May 15.
