Budget session of Gujarat assembly will begin today. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who also holds the portfolio of Finance Ministry will present the full modified budget for the year 2019-20 on the first day today. Earlier, on 19th February, Mr Patel had presented Vote on Account due to general elections 2019. 

The session will last till 25th July, in which several government bills will also take up for discussion. Opposition Congress will get the chance to raise the various issues during the session after party’s humiliating defeat in recent Lok Sabha elections.
