Sensex was down 208.43 points or 0.50% at 41,115.38, and the Nifty was down 63 points or 0.52% at 12,106.90. About 1070 shares have advanced, 1399 shares declined, and 170 shares are unchanged. Coal India, ONGC, NTPC, Tata Motors and UPL were among major losers on the Nifty, Zee Entertainment, Grasim Industries, Nestle India, TCS and HCL Tech were among major gainers on the Nifty. Except IT, all other indices ended in the red. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices also ended lower.
