At close, the Sensex was down 190.97 points or 0.33% at 57,124.31, and the Nifty was down 0.40% at 17,003.75. Grasim Industries, ONGC, Eicher Motors, NTPC were among the top Nifty losers. Gainers were HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life, Asian Paints and Wipro. Except IT, all other sectoral indices ended in the red. BSE midcap and smallcap indices down 0.5-1 percent.
