The Indian equity indices ended more than 3 percent lower Friday following a sharp selloff in global markets as rising bond yields spooked investors. Broader markets, smallcap and midcap indices fell over 1 percent each. All the sectoral indices ended with heavy losses over 1-4 percent. On the Nifty50 index, no stock ended in the green while ONGC, M&M, PowerGrid Corporation, JSW Steel and Hero MotoCorp led the losses.
