Titan Company, IOC, Bharti Infratel, Bajaj Finserv and BPCL were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers include Zee Entertainment, Bajaj Auto, Yes Bank, Eicher Motors and HUL. Among sectors metal and energy indices rallied 3 percent each followed by infra, IT, pharma, FMCG and auto. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gained over 1 percent each.
