The Centre on Tuesday told the Delhi High Court that there would be no forcible takeover of the Delhi Gymkhana Club premises before June 5 and that alternate accommodation could also be offered as part of the lease determination process.
Appearing for the Centre and the Land & Development Office (L&DO), Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the government had already given the club an option to vacate the premises voluntarily before June 5.
