A series of four earthquake tremors struck areas along the Nanded-Hingoli border in Maharashtra between 1:37 am and 3:23 am, triggering panic among residents. The strongest quake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, forced people to rush out of their homes in fear. According to preliminary information, all four tremors were recorded within a span of less than two hours.
However, there were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
