The FBI Newark Division is seeking the public’s help to locate a missing Jersey City woman who was last seen on April 29th, 2019 and reported missing by her family two days later.

Mayushi Bhagat, 28, of Jersey City, was added to the FBI’s list of missing persons today, announced FBI Special Agent in Charge James E. Dennehy.

Bhagat was last seen on April 29th, 2019, leaving her Jersey City apartment. She was wearing colorful pajama pants and a black t-shirt. Her family reported her missing on May 1st, 2019.

Bhagat described as standing five feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build, weighing around 150 to 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She came to the United States in 2016 on an F1 Student Visa and was enrolled at the University of New Hampshire and then the New York Institute of Technology (NJIT).
