Former Miss Puducherry and popular model, San Rechal, allegedly died by suicide on Sunday, officials said, adding that a note has been recovered by the cops.
A model and a social media personality, Rechal, 26, allegedly consumed an overdose of blood pressure pills at her home in Karamanikuppam after she paid a visit to her father in the city.
She had married recently and was quite vocal against discrimination or bias based on skin tone in the entertainment industry. She was also crowned Miss Puducherry in 2022.
