Hitting back at the Aam Aadmi Party, Raghav Chadha on Saturday rejected the allegations against him after being removed as the party’s deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. He described the move as part of a “scripted campaign”, alleging it was a “coordinated attack” aimed at targeting him.

In a video shared on X, he said he would expose “every lie” and responded to each charge levelled by the party, ending with a popular line from Dhurandhar: “Ghayal hoon isliye ghatak hoon” (I may be wounded, but I am also stronger because of it).

"This is no coincidence, but a coordinated attack. At first, I thought I shouldn't respond. Then I thought that if a lie is repeated 100 times, some people might believe it. So, I decided to respond," said the AAP leader.

Chadha said the AAP has raised three allegations against him, based on which the party said that it would not give him a chance to speak in Parliament.

"The first allegation is that when the opposition walks out of Parliament, Raghav Chadha remains seated there. He does not walk out. This is a blatant lie," he said.

"The second allegation was that Raghav Chadha refused to sign the impeachment motion against the Chief Election Commissioner, the petition to remove him. Another blatant lie. No Aam Aadmi Party leader asked me to sign this motion—neither formally nor informally," said Chadha adding that the AAP has a total of 10 MPs in the Rajya Sabha.

The third allegation, Chadha said, that has been raised against him is that he is scared and that's the reason why he raises trivial issues in the Parliament.

"Firstly, I did not go to Parliament to create noise, shout, break the microphone, or abuse. I went there to raise public issues. I have raised issues ranging from GST to Income Tax, Punjab's water crisis to Delhi's pollution, government schools to public healthcare facilities, unemployment to rising inflation and even for that matter menstrual health, which most people shy away from."

"I have gone to the Parliament to create an impact, not create a ruckus. The money of the taxpayers from which the Parliament runs, I go to the Parliament to raise taxpayers' issues," said Chadha.

"Let the right time come. I will uncover all these lies and give an answer to every question that is being raised against me. Mai ghayal hoon isliye ghatak hoon (I am wounded, therefore I am dangerous)," said the AAP leader.
