Congress leader Hardik Patel has been arrested from Gujarat's Ahmedabad for failing to appear before a court in connection with the trial of 2015 sedition case. The prosecution said Patel intended to delay the trial by seeking regular exemption from appearance. The sedition case was filed after violence broke out during the Patidar community's quota agitation in Ahmedabad in 2015.
