While Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh of NCP said on Saturday that the threeparty Maha Vikas Aghadi government had sought legal opinion on the Centre’s move to transfer the Elgar Parishad probe to the National Investigation Agency, his party boss Sharad Pawar said the shift itself showed police had misused their powers and arrested innocent citizens.
