The Indian Institute of Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) will open its campus in Indonesia, announced PM Narendra Modi. 

Addressing a joint press meet with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, PM Modi said, "today, we have signed a significant agreement to enhance technological cooperation among our youth in areas such as AI, telecommunications and digital public infrastructure. We have also agreed to deepen startup collaboration between two nations. We are going to establish a campus of India's prestigious management institute, IIM Bangalore in Indonesia," as reported by news agency ANI. 

IIM Bangalore's Indonesia campus will be second abroad campus of country's prestigious management institute after IIM Ahmedabad's Dubai campus. Earlier, IIT Madras opened India's first abroad campus in Zanzibar, Tanzania and IIT Delhi opened its Abu Dhabi campus in 2024.
