India reported 1,590 new Covid cases and six deaths in last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry data on Saturday. With the fresh fatalities, the death toll due to the virus reached 5,30,824. Of the six deaths, three were reported from Maharashtra and one each from Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. India'stotal active caseload has risen to 8,601 which is 0.02 per cent of total cases.
