India has won the record for the Under-19 Asia Cup for the seventh time. In the final match, on the basis of excellent bowling, the Indian team bowled Bangladesh for 101 runs and won the match by 5 runs. It is a victory for a team while defending the smallest score in youth cricket so far.
It was India’s seventh U-19 Asia Cup win after winning it in 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012 (joint winners), 2003 and 1989. Atharva was named the Man of the Match for his heroics with the ball while opener Arjun Azad was named the Man of the Tournament for his scintillating campaign with the willow.
