India has sent a forensic team to Nepal to help analyse DNA samples and identify the mortal remains of victims of the recent flash floods.
According to the ministry of external affairs, Indian ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava met the Indian forensic team deployed in the flood-hit country.
India has also sent relief supplies to the neighbouring country, while Nepal has sought further assistance with forensic laboratories and rapid DNA analysis to help identify the bodies recovered after the flash floods devastated the country.
