Amid the continuing operational meltdown, IndiGo on Tuesday cancelled nearly 500 flights, with Delhi (152) and Bengaluru (121) the worst affected. In response to the large-scale disruptions, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has directed the airline to reduce 5 per cent of its winter schedule flights.
Besides, Delhi and Bengaluru, cancellations were also reported in Chennai (81), Hyderabad (58), Mumbai (31), Lucknow (26) and Ahmedabad (16).
