Ink was thrown at Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey here on Tuesday by a supporter of controversial Bihar politician Pappu Yadav, when the former visited the Patna Medical College and Hospital to take stock of the measures in place to contain dengue in the city. Following the incident, Choubey said, "Ink thrown on public, democracy and the pillar of democracy." Meanwhile, security personnel ran after the man who threw the ink, but he managed to escape.
