Jay Shah, Chairman of the International Cricket Council, hailed women’s cricket as being in a ‘golden era’ after Australia outclassed England to claim a record-extending seventh Women’s T20 World Cup title at Lord’s, saying that the tournament had demonstrated why the women’s game is ‘unmissable’.
