One female was killed while 52 others were injured after multiple explosions rocked a convention center in Kalamassery area of Kerala's Kochi on Sunday. Kalamassery CI Vibin Das said the first explosion took place around 9:00 am and multiple blasts followed thereafter, over the next hour.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and took stock of the situation in the state after a bomb explosion took place at a convention centre. He also instructed the NIA and the NSG to reach on the spot and start an inquiry into the incident.
