The funeral of Bangladesh’s first woman Prime Minister, Khaleda Zia, who died today after a prolonged illness, will be held on Wednesday. She is reported to be laid to rest beside her husband, former President Ziaur Rahman, at Dhaka’s Zia Udyan. The funeral prayers will take place at the high-security Manik Mia Avenue.
