Former Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan on Saturday submitted his resignation from the post of Maharashtra Congress Committee President. Chavan said that Congress' defeat in the Lok Sabha elections was the collective responsibility of state heads and not that of party chief Rahul Gandhi alone. This comes after Congress won just one Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra.
