Supreme Court on Thursday slammed Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah for remarks on Colonel Sofia Qureshi, saying a person holding a constitutional office should be responsible when this country is going through such a situation. He has to know what he is saying, the Supreme Court said.
The apex court also agreed to hear on May 16, the plea of Madhya Pradesh minister Kunwar Vijay Shah against Madhya Pradesh High Court’s May 14 order which ordered registration of FIR against him for his remarks against Indian Army officer Colonel Sofiya Qureshi who had briefed the media about Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.
