Mizoram CM Zoramthanga on Monday directed state police to withdraw FIR filed at Vairengte, Kolasib district against all the Assam officials over the border violence. Zoramthanga tweeted that he's doing so "to build a conducive atmosphere for an amicable solution to the Mizoram-Assam border dispute and to reduce the plight of suffering citizens". The violence took place on July 26.
