Mumbai received its 1st consignment of the Covishield vaccine on Wednesday at around 5:30 am. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has received a total of 1,39,500 doses of Covishield vaccine manufactured by the Pune-based Serum Institute of India.The BMC had registered 1.30 lakh healthcare workers in the 1st phase of the drive and it has stored 9,500 extra viles.
