The police on Saturday said nearly 2,000 people who were found without face masks amid COVID-19 pandemic in public places were fined across Noida and Greater Noida. The police also said over ₹1.95 lakh has been collected from the violators. Since November 20, over 7,550 people have been issued challans for not wearing a mask, according to official data.
