The new generation Audi A6 will be launched in India in September of this year. It’s the fifth generation for Audi’s mid-size sedan and will be offered here with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The new Audi A6 gets a considerable update in terms of features and equipment and so is will most likely be more pricier than the current one which sells at Rs. 50-51 lakhs.

Features:

On the inside, the Audi A6 adopts the latest interior design language from Audi. Gone are the floating infotainment screens and stack of buttons on the center console. There are now two digital screens integrated into the dashboard for all your entertainment and vehicle controls. The dashboard is garnished with piano black trims and brushed aluminum which give it a very premium feel. And yes of course, Audi’s virtual cockpit is also present.

As for the powertrain options for the Audi A6 in India, there will be a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that churns out 335 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. There’s also a 3.0-litre diesel that makes 282 bhp and 620 Nm of peak torque with the engine being mated to a 8-speed automatic tiptronic gearbox. The engines can also be had with a 48V mild hybrid system and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system.
