Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said the Islamic Republic would continue supporting Hezbollah as a strategic policy and that “no path remains except jihad and resistance,” in a letter to the group’s secretary-general published on his Telegram channel on Sunday.
Khamenei said perseverance on the path of resistance would bring “divine victory” and described Hezbollah’s stance as “an inspiring message.” He also said preserving Lebanon’s territorial integrity and securing a “complete and unconditional” end to Israeli attacks were the first conditions of a memorandum of understanding to end the war with the United States.
