Congress president Rahul Gandhi said there was no possibility of key opposition leaders outside UPA supporting a BJP government, a significant remark in the wake of growing talk about a joint opposition challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in case of a hung Parliament.
At a special press conference to mark the end of the 2019 campaign, Rahul refused to comment on the possible results and the leadership issue, saying he would not prejudge people’s mandate before May 23.
