As many as 18,522 fresh cases of novel coronavirus were recorded in India on Tuesday morning, which pushed the overall tally of India to 5,66,840. According to the updated data of the Unoion Ministry of Family and Health Welfare, India saw 418 deaths due to Covid on Tuesday. The death toll in India now stands at 16,893, as per the Union health ministry. The total number of samples tested till June 29 is 86,08,654. Of the total, 2,10,292 samples were tested on Monday, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said.
