Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Varanasi for a two-day visit on Thursday and will hold a roadshow and take part in the Ganga 'aarti'. The PM will file his nomination at 11.30 am from the holy city on Friday.

According to a party press release issued on Wednesday PM Modi’s roadshow will start from the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya's statue and will end at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
During the roadshow, the PM’s convoy will pass from Ravidas Gate, Assi Chauraha, Bhadaini, Shivalaya, Sonarpura, Pandey Haveli, Madanpura, Jangambadi, Godolia and Kashi Vishwanath.

"After the roadshow, the Prime Minister will participate in the Ganga Arti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. After that, at 8 pm, he will have a conversation with eminent personalities of Varanasi at Hotel De Paris," the press release stated.

Before filing his nomination the PM will address booth heads and party workers at 9.30 am after which he will visit Kal Bhairav temple for offering prayers.
