Happy to share that QCI-NABL and DGAQA, Ministry of Defence, signed a landmark MoU today in New Delhi in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh. This historic moment sets a new benchmark for quality in the defence sector, paving the way for enhanced framework and improved trust in indigenous systems and processes.
Quality in defence manufacturing will not only make India self-reliant but also position us as a leading global exporter by strengthening our credibility, boosting competitiveness, and fostering innovation in critical technologies.
This initiative is closely aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to make India a frontrunner in defence manufacturing, with quality as the hallmark across all sectors of national development. I completely agree with the Hon’ble Defence Minister that quality will redefine the space sector, especially as India accelerates its aspirations in aerospace and advanced technological frontiers. As the events of the past two days have shown, quality truly gives an edge, enabling precision, confidence, and performance where it matters most.
Grateful to Shri Sanjay Chawla, Director General, DGAQA; Shri N. Manoharan, Director General, DGQA; and Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Secretary (DP), and Rear Admiral Rupak Barua, Director General. DGNAI for their invaluable support and guidance.
