Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Centre over the alleged examination paper leak crisis, claiming that 152 paper leaks over the past decade have affected nearly 7.5 crore students and their families. 

He further alleged that India's education system is rigged because there have been no convictions over these leaks.

Addressing the issue, Gandhi outlined three key demands:

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign, taking moral responsibility for the repeated examination irregularities.

Accountability must be fixed for all those responsible for the alleged assault on protesting students, with action taken against those involved.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi should apologise to students across the country for the repeated paper leaks and the hardship they have endured

Rahul Gandhi questioned the government's handling of student protests, asking why students were being subjected to such treatment despite demonstrating peacefully.

"What exactly have our students done?" Gandhi asked. "Why are security forces pointing weapons at them? They are protesting peacefully and are only asking for what this country owes them, a fair and transparent education system."
