Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday condemned the alleged use of derogatory words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother during an INDIA bloc event in Bihar.
Referring to the incident, Shah said, "I want to urge Rahul Gandhi that if he has even a little bit of shame left, he must apologise to Modi ji, to his late mother, and to the people of this country. May God give wisdom to everyone."
He further said, "What happened two days ago has pained everyone. Modi ji’s mother lived a life in a poor household, raised her children with values, and enabled her son to become a leader of trust. To use abusive words for such a life is something the people of India can never tolerate. There can be no greater fall in political life than this, and I strongly condemn it."
