Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) had a historic win at the Tamil Nadu Elections 2026. In his inaugural election with the Tamil Victory Alliance (TVK), Vijay has made history in Tamil Nadu by bringing an end to the 50-year reign of both Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in the state.

The actor-turned-politician became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu with a majority of votes. South stars Suriya, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan all sent their congratulatory messages to Vijay and now Rajinikanth and Dhanush have extended their heartiest congratulations on their X accounts. Both of them highlighted the overwhelming support that Vijay received from Tamil Nadu people.

On X, Rajinikanth expressed his congratulations to Thalapathy Vijay, the leader of the Tamil Victory Alliance, and to all the members of his party for their great victory in the recently concluded Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections.

On the other hand, Dhanush conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Vijay, who, in his very first election contest, was set to form the government with the overwhelming support and affection of the people of Tamil Nadu, along with the Tamil Victory Alliance.
