Renowned Gujarati Poet and writer Chandrakant Shah aka Chandu Shah, who created wonderful plays like 'Khelaiya' and 'Eva Mumbai Ma Chaal Jaiye', passed away on Saturday.
He passed away today at Ahmedabad after a long battle with cancer.
Born in 1956, Chandrakant (or Chandu) Shah was a Boston-based Gujarati poet and playwright. He was the author of two books of poetry, Ane Thoda Sapna and Blue Jeans, and several important plays in Gujarati theatre, including Master Phoolmani, Kabro, Khelaiya, Ek Hati Rupli and Eva Mumbai Ma Chal Jaiye.
